This policy explains how SombrTour.us researches, writes, updates and corrects its content, and how we keep our editorial work separate from advertising.
Our Purpose
SombrTour.us is an independent fan website that helps listeners follow sombr’s upcoming concerts and tour-related updates. Our editorial goal is to provide clear, useful and trustworthy information in one easy-to-use place.
Our Standards
- Accuracy: We verify tour information against reliable sources before publishing.
- Clarity: We write in plain language and organize information so it is easy to scan.
- Fairness and respect: We treat the artist, fellow fans and everyone mentioned on the Site with respect. We do not publish harassment, hate speech, rumors about private life or content that invades anyone’s privacy.
- Transparency: We are clear that we are a fan site and not an official source.
- Originality: We write our own content. We do not copy articles from other websites, and we do not republish copyrighted material such as song lyrics, full articles or press materials without permission.
Sources
We rely on, in order of preference:
- The artist’s official website and verified social media accounts
- Official announcements from management, labels or promoters
- Venue websites and official event pages
- Authorized ticketing platforms
- Reputable news outlets
We do not publish unverified rumors as facts. When information is not yet official, we label it clearly as unconfirmed, or we leave it out.
Updates and Corrections
Tour information changes often. We review and update tour pages regularly and aim to reflect new announcements, cancellations and venue changes as soon as we can verify them. Pages show a “last updated” date where relevant.
If you find an error, please email contact@sombrtour.us. When we confirm a mistake, we correct it promptly and, for significant corrections, note the change on the page.
Advertising and Affiliate Independence
The Site is funded through display advertising (such as Google AdSense) and may include affiliate links. Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers and affiliate partners. Advertisers do not review, approve or influence our content, and we do not accept payment to publish favorable coverage or to change tour information. Ads are kept clearly distinct from editorial content. See our Disclaimer for more.
Ticket and Safety Guidance
When we link to ticket sellers, we prefer official or authorized vendors. We encourage fans to avoid suspicious resellers and to be careful with prices and fees. We do not guarantee any third-party seller.
User-Submitted Information
We welcome tips and corrections from fans. We review submissions and publish them only after confirming them with a reliable source. We may edit or decline submissions at our discretion.
Images and Media
We use images and media only when we have the right to do so, such as our own graphics, properly licensed material or content used with permission. If you believe something has been used improperly, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.
Use of Tools
We may use software tools to help with research, organization, spell-checking or drafting. All content is reviewed by a person before it is published, and we remain responsible for its accuracy.
